Dark Peak Returns policy
1. What is your return policy?
We offer Free 30 day returns for DARKPEAKGEAR.com customers within the United Kingdom (UK) and continental United States (USA). If your item is unworn, unwashed and purchased directly from DARKPEAKGEAR.com.
Items provided as rewards to backers through crowdfunding platforms (such as Kickstarter or Indiegogo) and / or any items that are marked “Final Sale” on this website are not eligible for return.
Your item is eligible for return within 30 days if it is unworn, unwashed and unaltered (can be resold as ‘new’), or if your item has a manufacturing defect. We consider an item to be ‘new’ if you have just received the jacket, tried it on at home, but have decided it’s not right for you. If you wear your item outdoors, or wash your item it is considered ‘used’ therefore not eligible for return.
If your item is eligible for return, simply contact us via email at email@example.com providing your original order number / payment receipt and let us know the reason for your return. Our team will be happy to assist and will provide return shipping instructions depending on your location.
2. What if I purchased from outside the UK or continental USA?
Customers from the Rest Of World (ROW) may return items that are unworn, unwashed, or items that have a manufacturing defect, within 30 days of the date you received the item. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide free return shipping to anyone outside the UK or continental USA at this time. We recommend using a tracked service from your local postal service. This will typically be the lowest cost option.

PACKAGING: Please reuse the shipping bag that your jacket arrived in or (if you no longer have it), request a new shipping bag from the shipping provider/courier (they normally provide these free of charge). Do not ship your item(s) back to us in a box, this increases the shipping cost and can lead to the item(s) being damaged when the box is opened when received by our returns department.
VERY IMPORTANT: As your return is being shipping internationally, it is important that the package (and any associated customs for or commercial invoice) is labelled correctly, or we may incur custom and duty charges when the item is receive by us. Please make sure the package and customs form (if applicable) is clearly to marked:
“Returned Goods, No Commercial Value”.
If your item is incorrectly labelled, we reserve the right to deduct any customs and duty charges from your refund.
3. What about my refund?
Once your item is received, it will be inspected by our team and items that are deemed unworn, unwashed, unaltered, or defective will be refunded to the payment method that you used when you made your original purchase.
If you paid via PayPal, your refund will be issued back to your PayPal account. If you paid with a credit or debit card, your refund will be issued back to your card. The time it will take for your refund to post to your bank account, PayPal account or credit card will vary.
Once we receive your item(s), please allow 5-7 working days for us to process your refund.
4. How do I return an item?
Simply contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know the reason for your return. If your item(s) is unworn, unwashed and unaltered, or items that you believe have a manufacturer’s defect our team will be happy to assist and provide return shipping instructions depending on your location.
5. Do you offer exchanges?
Yes! If you would like to exchange your item for a different size or colour we will be happy to help (depending on availability).
